Koalas in Crisis

Many of you may have already heard but Australia is currently on fire (over 10 million acres burned). With the majority of bushfires focused in New South Whales (NSW). There has been 24 human casualties and Chris Dickman with the University of Sydney has estimated that nearly 480 million animals have died. Chief among these being Koalas. About a third of the Koalas in NSW have been wiped out along with a third of their habitat. Many thousands of people are working day and night to fight these fires and you can help too by donating to assisting organizations, via @earthfocus, or simply by helping spread the word and raise awareness.
