Can you smell with your eyebrows??

 The Pandora Pinemoth can! ...ok, they’re antennae, but they sure look like floofy eyebrows…

These feathery antennae are highly sensitive and collect chemical particles from the air, allowing them to “smell” their environment in a process called chemoreception.

Females release chemicals (pheromones) that signal they are ready to mate and males use their antennae to track these chemicals and find the she-moth of their dreams.
