Blind Snakes

The Brahminy Blind Snake (Indotyphlops braminus) is a small subtropical burrowing snake that feeds on termite and ant larvae. They are originally from Southeast Asia but have been spread around the world, stowing away in the soil of flower pots. They only get to be around 4-6 inches. Fun fact, they are the only snake species found in Hawaii other than the yellow-bellied sea snake and are non-native to the island. Plus, they are completely harmless!
